How can I get more information about MetroWall products?

You can visit the download section of our website metro-wall.com and select “Download a Brochure.” Here, you can download a Main Product Brochure, Inspiration Lookbook Brochure, LEED Documentation, and Health Product Declaration. You can also email sales@metro-wall.com.

What aspects of a project does MetroWall handle?

MetroWall has a proprietary, integrated process where we manage all aspects of a job – Project Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Installation, and Aftercare. This process removes a lot of the stress typically associated with projects that have many stakeholders and timelines.

Do you do exterior work?

No, we only do interior installations including suite entrance doors.

Do you do work outside the NY Metro area?

MetroWall has national project delivery capabilities and have executed projects across the USA, but our core focus remains the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions

Do you offer fire rated glass?

MetroWall does not currently offer fire-rated solutions. Please speak with a representative about other options.

Do you offer specialty glass such as switchable, etched, or textured?

Yes, we can accommodate most glass types within our systems.

How do I determine what I can do with my budget?

Given MetroWall’s broad range of products and options, budgets may vary quite significantly. We recommend speaking in more detail to understand the project requirements, project scope, timeline, hardware, finish, glass types, acoustic requirements, etc. We typically work with project stakeholders to find a solution that fits within the project’s requirements while balancing the budget. MetroWall solutions can range from a few hundred dollars to well over $1,000 per linear ft.

What are your lead times and how are they calculated?

MetroWall standard products are 3-4 weeks from the date that field measurements take place. However, we strive to meet project needs. For more specific information please contact sales@metro-wall.com

Are you a domestic provider?

Yes, our manufacturing facility is located in Rockland County, NY. We are located just thirty-five miles from New York City. Our materials are sourced from domestic/local providers.

Do you manage the installation of your products as well?

We manage both the manufacture and install of our products. Projects are managed by our team to ensure installation is seamless and we achieve successful project outcomes. We are not dealer aligned, MetroWall sells direct.

What do we need for field verifications?

All glass wall openings should be fully framed with blocking & the final layer of drywall and corner beads installed.

What is your STC rating?

Depending on the MetroWall product selected and other factors, we can achieve a STC of up to 51. Products have been lab tested. Please reach out to sales@metro-wall.com to discuss solutions that meet your needs.

What is the floor level tolerance?

While tolerances are built into our products, our process and short lead times allow us to accommodate almost all projects without floor levelling.

Do you have ADA compliance options?

Yes, we have Door and Hardware options that are ADA compliant.

Do you have Revit files?

Yes, we have Revit 2024 files (no downward compatibility) available for coordination and design. These files can be shared by speaking with a sales representative, sales@metro-wall.com.

Showroom

Do you have a showroom?

Yes, we have a showroom located in the heart of New York City at 10 Grand Central – 155 East 44th Street. It is steps from Grand Central Train Station.

How do I make an appointment to visit the showroom?

You can visit the website and click on “Book A Showroom Appointment” or you can call us at 888.796.8806.

How do I access the showroom on the day of my appointment?

The MetroWall team will register you with building security using your first and last name along with your email. When entering the building, you will visit the front desk and inform them of your name, and they will direct you to where you need to go.

What are the benefits of booking a showroom appointment?

There are many benefits to booking an appointment in our showroom. Visiting the showroom will allow you to experience our products firsthand, enabling you to assess the quality, features, and suitability for your needs. You will also be able to ask questions, receive personalized recommendations and compare options side by side, which can help you make a more informed decision. Additionally, interacting with our sales representatives can provide valuable insights and assistance in understanding the product better.

What are the hours of operation for the showroom?

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Please reach out to sales@metro-wall.com if you have needs outside or normal business hours.

Does the showroom accept walk-ins?

No, at MetroWall we want to prioritize appointments for personalized consultations. By scheduling appointments, we can appropriately allocate enough time and attention to each of our customers so we can provide you with the best experience possible.

How do I know availability for showroom appointments?

When you inquire about a potential showroom appointment, you will be able to discuss with a representative days and times that work best for you.

How many people can come to an appointment at the showroom?

There is no set limit, but it is important to communicate with your sales representative the desired number of guests so the MetroWall team can appropriately prepare for the appointment.

Are there glass samples available for me to look at?

Yes! There are samples of the different glass in the showroom for guests to view.

AIA Continuing Education

Does MetroWall offer AIA Continuing Education Courses?

Yes, MetroWall has several course options available for regular learning credits and HSW credits with AIA.

How do I register for a MetroWall AIA course?

You can visit the MetroWall website and select “Schedule a Presentation” https://metro-wall.com/schedule-aia-presentation/

How will I receive credit?

When you attend a MetroWall AIA presentation, you will be asked to fill in our sign-in sheet. We will take this list and submit it to AIA.

Can I get a certificate of completion?

Of course! When you sign in for an AIA presentation, select “Yes” if you would like to receive a certificate.

I have already taken a MetroWall AIA-credited course, can I take it again?

Yes, you can take our courses as many times as you would like. However, as per AIA’s guidelines, it can only count as credit once during a cycle.

What are my credit requirements?

Credit requirements vary by state. For more specific requirements, we encourage you to visit aia.org for the most up-to-date information.
