What excites you most about being a business development manager in the design and construction industries?

I love being able to solve design problems from a different vantage point. Designers have questions and problems that they seek to solve. I get to have a solution and then seek out the designers who are looking for those solutions. It excites me that MetroWall not only works with clients in the design phase but are also the manufacturer and installer excites me. Its great to be able to help guide the process from design intent to reality.

What do you love most about working in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets?

Although I didn’t grow up in the DMV, the DC area is now home to me and where we are planting our roots as a family. Being in this area for as long as I have, I see relationships from my earlier days pop up all over the region, and I love reconnecting with former classmates, colleagues, clients, co-volunteers, and more. There is also a level of transientness to DC that I love. New ideas, people, and experiences are constantly flowing in and out of the DC area, keeping things fresh and bringing rejuvenating inspiration.

What is your goal when working with clients?

To be a trusted expert. Architects and designers are expected to know everything about everything. As a business development manager, I hope to be a trusted resource who will always give honest feedback and allow them to take some of the pressure of having to know everything off their shoulders.

What excites you about working with the MetroWall team?

MetroWall is full of knowledge, experience, and expertise. I’m excited to learn from the whole team. MetroWall aligns with my personal and professional values: to be constantly learning and humbly growing, a true team environment, a deep sense of care for the products, the work executed, colleagues and clients, and a drive to be dependable to those around you.
